Acceptable use policy

Version 1.0 ยท What you can and can't point a code at. This is not legal advice.

The principle

You may point a dynamic QR code at any lawful, non-abusive destination. We host the redirect, not your content โ€” you're responsible for where your codes lead.

Prohibited destinations

You may not point codes at:

  • โ†’Phishing or impersonation
  • โ†’Malware or drive-by downloads
  • โ†’Child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance โ€” immediate termination and reporting)
  • โ†’Doxxing or non-consensual intimate imagery
  • โ†’Spam or unsolicited mass-marketing destinations
  • โ†’Crypto scams (rug-pulls, pump-and-dump, fraudulent token sales)
  • โ†’Illegal or unlicensed regulated goods (e.g. firearms, prescription drugs without a permit)
  • โ†’Adult material targeted at minors
  • โ†’Anything unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours

Prohibited activity

  • โ†’Harassing other users through our system
  • โ†’Creating accounts to evade a prior suspension
  • โ†’Excessive automated requests beyond rate limits
  • โ†’Probing or reverse-engineering beyond our security policy
  • โ†’Reselling raw scan data in violation of GDPR

Enforcement

  • โ†’Minor: warning and 7 days to fix
  • โ†’Major: immediate suspension of the offending code(s)
  • โ†’Egregious: immediate workspace termination
  • โ†’Illegal content: termination and report to authorities

Reporting abuse

Found a code on our system pointing at abusive content? Email abuse@dynamicqrpro.com with the short link, what's harmful, and any evidence. We review within one business day; CSAM is removed immediately and reported.
